"The talk of the town"

Foxcroft Luxury Townhomes WHITPAIN - A crop of pricey townhouses is rising where Genson Sod and Pileggi Trucking once stood at 588 North Wales Road.

Foxcroft at Blue Bell will have 96 residences on a 30-acre parcel, said Pat Maloney, vice president of sales and construction for Builders of Plymouth. "It is very popular," Maloney said. "It is the only townhouse community in Whitpain." The developer expects to sell out the community by late August. Ten homes were sold from a sales trailer between May 2004 when construction began and August 2004 when four model homes were completed.

"We have been selling pretty fast," Maloney said. "We are selling six or seven each month." The two-story, $493,000 Chelsea model has three bedrooms, 2 1/2-bathrooms, a two-car garage and an unfinished basement. A fireplace accents the family room, which adjoins the breakfast room on the first floor.

Foxcroft Luxury Townhomes A living room and dining room combination completes the first-floor layout. The enclosed laundry room is located on the home's second floor. The Chelsea homes will be built on the inside of buildings with four units. Three more expensive models, the Ardsley II, Brighton and Devenshire, will be built at the ends of each four-unit building. They range in price from $505,000 to $510,000. "The Chelsea Deluxe is popular because it has a finished third floor and a finished basement with a bathroom," Maloney said. "It has a private bathroom on the third floor and one bathroom for the two back bedrooms."

The Chelsea Deluxe costs $553,000 with a fourth bedroom and adjacent bathroom. Homeowners will pay $245 per month to the Foxcroft Homeowners Association. Twenty five townhouses have been completed and sold. An additional 40 homes are under construction.
