About Us

Fusion Island Caribbean Restaurant was started in 2000 by husband and wife team Wilton and Toni Johnson. We are now Located in the Overbrook Park Section of Philadelphia.

Wilton, the head chef, belts out authentic Caribbean cuisine such as "Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas" or one of his many fusion recipes such as "Curry Meatballs." Wife Toni, the operations manager, makes lost but not forgotten cakes of our past such as "Black Cake", "Coconut Totoes" and, let's not forget, her signature "Caribbean-Chip Cookie."

Our company believes in using the freshest ingredients to deliver the best quality, authentic Caribbean food you will ever taste outside of the Caribbean. That is why our menu changes daily.

Our catering division that has been bringing the Caribbean taste throughout the tri-state area at such events as the "Maritime Food Festival" at the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal, the "Caribbean Festival of South Jersey" and the "United Nations Birthday". We also keep very busy at various events at our local colleges, including Saint Joseph's University and Villanova University to name a few.

Our company is a family-owned and operated business and we would like to take the time to thank all of our customers for their continued support.

We have expanded our service capabilities and are now catering:
Weddings, Bas & Bar Mitzvahs, Corporate Events, Holiday Parties,
Backyard BBQ's and Family Reunions in Southeastern Pennsylvania,
New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
